He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. James Sr. Bare and Genevieve Bare (Kelly); and his brother-in-law Michael Blackburn. He is survived by: his wife Malai Bare; his children, Danielle Bare and Adam Bare; and his siblings, Tom Bare, Beth Blackwelder (Rick), Lynn Blackburn and Dan Bare (Mindy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home (5200 R St, Lincoln, NE 68504).
