He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthias Schneider and Gertrude Schneider (Bencken); his wife Theresa Rempe; his son Mick; his son-in-law Bruce; and his brothers-in-law, Herb and Don.
He is survived by: his brothers, Gib, Clarence, Ben and Jim; his children, Jeff Schneider (Abby), Janyce Ostrander (Lincoln), Jeanine Stevens (Bill), Lincoln, Ron Schneider (Cindy), Kearney and Lyle Schneider (Gina); his daughter-in-law Cindy Schneider (Sioux Falls); and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Schneider, Lincoln, Walt Rempe, Charlyn Jurgensmeier, Tom and Karen Jurgensmeier.
Memorials may be given to the Hastings Catholic Schools Foundation or Hastings American Legion Baseball.
