With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ione Hieter (Lincoln, Nebraska), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ione left this world on March 18, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Hieter; and her brother Robert Davis. She is survived by: her daughter Kathy; her son-in-law Ray Wilson; her son Jerry; her daughter-in-law Cindy Hieter; her grandchildren, John Wilson and Jennifer Wilson; and her great grandchildren, Jordinn Wilson, Jenna Wilson, Marlon Rupert (Rome), Caitlyn and Thomas. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. David's Episcopal Church (8800 Holdrege St, Lincoln, NE 68505).
The family has requested no flowers and in lieu of flowers, donations can be given to St. David's Episcopal Church or Alzheimer's Association of Nebraska.
