He is survived by: his wife Karen Swenson; his children, Carmen Paswaters (Brad) and Matthew Swenson; his grandchildren, Levi Paswaters (Nicole), Logan Paswaters (Lacey), Luke Paswaters (Brianna), Hunter Swenson and Taylor Renshaw (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Greyson Paswaters, Harper Paswaters, Nora Paswaters, James Paswaters and William Paswaters; his sister-in-law Carol Yelken; his nephews, Sam Swenson (Deana), Scott Swenson, Scott Yelken (Lori), Steve Quadhamer (Colleen) and Lynn Quadhamer (Cindy); and his niece Mary Kottmeyer (Phil).
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel (4300 O St, Lincoln, NE 68510). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the CST Cross the Line Church (5925 Adams St, Lincoln, NE 68507). A burial will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Omaha National Cemetery (14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68138).
