She was predeceased by: her parents, James Smejdir and Albie Smejdir; and her brothers, Jim Smejdir, Vern Smejdir, Dorman Smejdir and Wayne Smejdir (Babe).
She is survived by: her husband Dennis J. Shandera; her children, Bill Shandera (Denise), Gary Shandera and Cathy Shandera; her grandchildren, Justin Shandera (Nichole), Joslyn Fankhauser (Joel) and Carli Shandera; and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Zayden, Giovanna, Roman and Kolten. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
