He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Oliver and Lula Oliver; his sons, David and Dan; and his brothers, Forrest, Roy and Leonard.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughter Barb Koke (Larry); his sister Norma Orr; and his granddaughters, Kendra Walker (Gary), Lindsay Oliver, Vicki Kennel (Jamey), Kirstin McClellan (Michael) and Michelle Cooley (Kevin). He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, as well as many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home (5200 R St, Lincoln, NE 68504). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.
