He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Keith and Bettie Bailey (Hinkle); and his sisters, Kay, Barb and Patty.

He is survived by: his wife Margie; his sons, Sean (Megan), Vance (Leigh Ann) and Cy (Beth); and his stepchildren, Zachary Moore (Rhoda) and Geneva McNamara (James). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers.

A memorial service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the CST Roper & Sons South Chapel (3950 Hohensee Dr, Lincoln, NE 68516).
