He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard Finnegan, and Grace Finnegan, Sr. (Hourigan); and his siblings, Grace Tilford and F. Thomas Finnegan. He is survived by: his wife Deane of Lincoln; his sons, Gerard "Tad" Finnegan III (Erica) of Valley Cottage, NY and Patrick Finnegan (Julie); his grandchildren, Ashley, Cooper and Tessa Finnegan; his brothers, James F. Finnegan (Janet) of Dallas, TX and Robert E. Finnegan of Dallas, TX; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Hockley, Earl Tilford and David Smith (Pam).
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the CST First-Plymouth Church (2000 D St, Lincoln, NE 68502).
