He was predeceased by: his parents, John Petersen and Beulah Petersen (Larsen). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Petersen (Snell); his brother Chris Petersen (Marilyn); his children, John Petersen (Amanda), Jessica Petersen, Taylor Murphy (Shade), Nathan Petersen (Lisa) and Bethany Fast (David); his grandchildren, Kaleah, Cloey, Lily, Isabella, Sayge, Brayden, Rhaevyn, Sullivan, Alden, Oren and Wylder; his nieces, Crystal Johnson (Brian), Autumn Petersen and Danielle Christman (Chris); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Frerichs and Betty Northup.
