He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hoffman and Pearl Hoffman (Krauter); his brother Arthur Hoffman; his great grandchildren, Isabel and Silas (Haifley); and his sister-in-law Marlene Chinnock.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Bell); his children, Daniel Hoffman (Dana), Deborah Hoffman and Diana Hoffman (Maria); his grandchildren, Alexis Tracy (Merrick), Damon Haifley (Kendra), Oliva Hoffman (Colton Grutsch), Gabrielle Hoffman, Amelia Hoffman, Elijah Llompart and Emilio Llompart; and his brother Ronald (Bonnie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
