We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Gary Danek of Lincoln, Nebraska. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Danek and LaVeta Danek; and his sister Jeanne. He is survived by: his children, Julie Swan (Jeff), Kathy Kirchmann (Kraig), Jason Danek (Christine) and Karen Nalow (Andy); and his wife Carol Schnitzer. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Family Present St Joseph Catholic Church (1940 S 77th St, Lincoln, NE 68506). Viewing will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the St Joseph's Catholic Church (1940 S 77th St, Lincoln, NE 68506). A rosary will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (1940 S 77th St, Lincoln, NE 68506). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:50 AM to 12:10 PM at the Military Honors Calvary Cemetery (3880 L St, Lincoln, NE 68510).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Matt Talbot or Catholic Social Services.
