She was predeceased by: her parents, John G. Buhr and Hilcie Buhr (Schmidt); her husbands, Edwin Meints and Elroy Schoneweis; her son James Meints; and her grandson Jesse Meints.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Diers, Wayne Meints, Russell Schoneweis, Rodney Schoneweis and Robin Hostetler; her grandchildren, Joel, Jamie Diers, Sam Meints, Kai, Paige Schoneweis, Lindsay Davis, Ashley Schoneweis, Amber Schoneweis, Adam, Tyler and Thomas Anderson; and her siblings, Donald Buhr and Frieda Wolken. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
