He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Gana and Mabel Gana; his daughter Denise; his sisters, Betty Wilken and Ruth Hibbert; and his brothers-in-law, Alvin Wilken and Dean Hibbert.
He is survived by: his children, Deb (Ted Brandt), Cindy (Jerry Hieter), Judy (Gerald Wood) and Mike Gana; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Katie, Sterling, Halie, Vinnie, Janelle, Nate, Kelly, Dan, Kim, Brian, Wendy and Chris; and his great grandchildren, Peyton, Brodie, Coen, Landry, Meyer, Caitlyn, Thomas, Maya, Evan, Lucy, Brianna, Braiden, Jayden and Keaton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Legion Hall Post 105 in Hickman, Nebraska, or to the Shriners in Ervin's memory.
