He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Rusted and Nora Rusted; his brother Dr. Joel Rustad; his wife Lynne; and his son Troy.
He is survived by: his son Todd (Amy Rustad) of Boise; his grandchildren, Carl, John and Audrey; his children, Zachary (Elliott) of Lincoln and Ann Baxa; his grandson Jonah of Lincoln; and his former wife Carol Rustad of Lincoln.
