He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Evers and Leta Evers (Janssen); his wife JoAnn Knickman; and his sister Adele Stubbendick. He is survived by: his son Scott Richard Evers (Vickie) of Salem, OR; and his grandchildren, Anna Garner (Ricky) of Spring, TX, Brandon Stewart (Brandi), Kaylee Hodges (James), Kelli Fagan (Brad), Sam and Adam Evers. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and three nieces.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or to the Morrill County Community Hospital Foundation.
