He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Buckbee and Leota Buckbee (Knapp). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Catlett of Lincoln; his children, Craig Buckbee (Leah) of Bennet, NE and Carmen Erickson (Scott) of North Platte, NE; and his grandchildren, Tyler Buckbee (Sarah) of Eagle, NE, Justin Erickson (Brandi) of North Platte, NE and Mallory Dennhardt (Ryan) of Kearney, NE. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Southlake Village Rehabilitation and Care Center (9401 Andermatt Dr, Lincoln, NE 68526).
