It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Durward A. Smith (Lincoln, Nebraska), born in Raymond, Washington, who passed away on December 16, 2018, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Aleta Doubek. He is survived by: his wife Arlene (Alford); his children, Sara Malsbury (Allen), Eliza Smith, Durward D. Smith and Brennan Smith (Christine); and his siblings, Gloria Christen (Donald) and Stanley Smith (Deborah). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to People's City Mission in Lincoln.
