He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Hand and Ginny Hand; his brother Steven; his parents-in-law, Phyllis and Robert Zimmerman; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Meininger and Bob Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his wife Jeri Zimmerman; his children, Lindsey (Chris Pelletier) of Winter Park and Brian (Emily) of Lincoln; his brother David (Lori) of Alpena; his siblings-in-law, Robin Zimmerman and George Meininger; and his friend Dan Riner of Lincoln. He is also survived by nieces and cousins.
