He was predeceased by: his parents, John Donald and Helen Monnett Gibbens; and his brother John (Martha). He is survived by: his children, Mary Jensen (Mark), Joyce Rasmussen, Don Gibbens (Val), Matt Gibbens (Barb), Martin Gibbens (Melanie) and Leslie Gibbens-Hefner (Brian). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
