She is survived by: her husband Paul Strauss; her children, Doug Strauss, Randall Strauss, Laurel Baillie (Boyd), Alan Strauss (Sharon), Jed Strauss (Carrie) and Elizabeth Becker (Scott); her brother James Wyman (Joann); and her son Braden Wyman Strauss. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 2 great-granddaughters, and countless nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Cottey College, continuing Dixie's passion for education and empowering future generations of women.
