Dianna Kieborz-Wilson Obituary
Dianna Kieborz-Wilson, age 75, of Lincoln, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at her home.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 9th at the Aurora Cemetery. Rev. Karl Larson will officiate. Memorials may be made to the family to designate at a later date. Higby-McQuiston Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
OBITUARY: DIANNA WILSON, Dianna M. Kieborz-Wilson, the daughter of Roy and Eva (Meyers) Kieborz was born at Broken Bow, Nebraska on November 20, 1948 and passed away in Lincoln, Nebraska on May 5, 2024 at the age of 75.
Dianna grew up in Merna and Anselmo and graduated from Merna High School. She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelors in Arts & Science, in the upper 1% of her class.
On May 24, 1969, Dianna married James Wilson at Merna, Nebraska and their union lasted close to 55 years. Dianna worked as a social worker as a Section 8 Housing Coordinator for the cities of Lincoln, Nebraska, Boulder, Colorado and then Arvada, Colorado before retiring.
Dianna was a long-time member of Phi Beta Kappa. She loved to write poetry and wrote many, many poems over the years. Dianna was passionate about the wild life and belonged to many of those organizations.
Dianna was proceeded in death by her parents and sister, Loretta.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jim of Lincoln. She is also survived by her sister, Cathy (Martin) Templin of Broomfield, Colorado and many other relatives and friends.
