With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Denise Kay Emery of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on September 24, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Varga and Mary Varga Keef (Rocke); her stepfather Jack Keef; her brother Daniel Varga; and her nephew Christopher Varga.

She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Whitney and Shane Emery (Ashton); her grandchildren, Hayden Whitney, Hunter Whitney (Grace), Jack Emery and Jessica Humphrey (Collin); her brothers-in-law, Mark Emery (Tammy) and Scott Emery (Kathy); her nieces, Melissa Varga, Hannah Emery and Abigale Emery; her nephew Matthew Emery; and also Douglas Emery.
