He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Albers and Amanda Albers (Kuehler); his son Kevin; and his siblings, Lorraine and Gary.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Albers; his daughter Debra McKinney (David); his daughter-in-law Pam Albers; and his grandchildren, Michael McKinney (Abby), Nicole McKinney, Tyler Albers (Nichole), Mitch Albers (Megan) and Chelsea Albers. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Redeemer Lutheran Church or Hallam American Legion Post # 294.
