He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Theodore and Wilma Viola Thiemann (McKamey); his son Danny Clair; his wife Donna Darlene Shelabarger; his daughter Dee Fritch; his grandson Nicholas Thiemann; his parents-in-law, Wid Shelabarger and Burchel Howell; and his siblings-in-law, Jody and Glenn Schultz.
He is survived by: his son Dwight Craig (Kelley) of Firth, NE; his son-in-law Randy Fritch of Beatrice, NE; and his grandchildren, Casey Haner, Jessi Schwerin (Matt), Nicole Thiemann, Mitchell Thiemann and Preston Thiemann (Rachel). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
