It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darlene Woods of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on March 28, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sid Madlock, Sr. and Dorothy Hardaway; her husband Steven Woods, Sr.; and her siblings, Martha Rogers and Donald Madlock.
She is survived by: her children, Davitria Platt, Michael Madlock, Trevino Woods (Kirsten) and Steven Woods, Jr.; her siblings, Stanford, Sr. Madlock (Amanda), Sid Madlock, Jr., Tangi White, Shirley Madlock, Roland Madlock and Trevino Copeland; her aunts, Thelma Richardson and Virginia Reed; and her uncle Leevirt Vann (Mary). She is also survived by five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a host of nieces & nephews & cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home (4040 A St, Lincoln, NE 68510). A burial will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wyuka Cemetery (3600 O St, Lincoln, NE 68510).
Memorials are suggested to the family for further designation.
