She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shuster and Gladys Shuster; her husband William Barker; her brothers, Edward, Paul, Donald and John; and her daughter Laurel.
She is survived by: her children, John (Jackie) of Phoenix, Ron (Kathryn) of Omaha and Shelly Jacobson (Scott) of Red Wing, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Brooke Westall (Chad), Amy VanPeteghem (Todd), Scott Barker (Amanda), Jason Barker (Kaity), Dallas Jacobson (Allison), Connor Jacobson and Laurel Jacobson; and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Addison Westall, Ava VanPeteghem, Laney, Collin, Ada and Palmer Barker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, Tabitha Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Lincoln, and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.
