She was predeceased by: her parents, Eulojio Ortiz and Francisca Ortiz (Hernandez); her husband James R. Silva; her children, Theresa Ann Silva and James R. Silva, Jr.; and her siblings, Angie Ortiz, Inez Davila, Lupe Vasquez, Pete, Jess and Danny Ortiz.
She is survived by: her siblings, Anita Silva (Tom) and Art Ortiz (Sue). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home (4040 A St, Lincoln, NE 68510). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Patrick Catholic Church (6120 Morrill Ave, Lincoln, NE 68507). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (3880 L St, Lincoln, NE 68510).
