He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ness and Lucille Ness (Richardson); his wife Evelyn Schneider; his son-in-law Greg Kirchhoff; and his son Steven.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Shaffer (Rick) and Diane Kirchhoff; his grandchildren, Jesse Shaffer (Jen), Jacob Shaffer, Breanne Shaffer, Meghan Kirchhoff and Trevor Kirchhoff; and his great grandchildren, Jackson and Jameson Shaffer.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home (4040 A St, Lincoln, NE 68510). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Butherus Maser and Love Funeral Home (4040 A St, Lincoln, NE 68510).
