We bid farewell to Bryce Wendell Bonness in Lincoln, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 25, 2025 at the age of 92. Bryce Wendell touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Henry and Vera Lucille Bonness (Hicks); and his stepson Dan. He is survived by: his children, Angela Sue Johnson and Andrew Scott Bonness (Dawn); his granddaughters, Ashlie Elizabeth Larson, Erin Nicole Larson (Zachary Brown), Alissa Brianne Larson (Travis Ball), Katherine Rae Bonness and Ella Rose Bonness; his siblings-in-law, Stan Martin, Art Hughes, Trudy Else, Patricia Squier and Patricia Hughes; and his stepchildren, Karen, Steve and Laura. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel (3950 Hohensee Dr, Lincoln, NE 68516). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the CST Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church (8300 E Pointe Rd, Lincoln, NE 68506). The military honors was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
Gifts in memory of Dr. Bryce Bonness may be made to the University of Nebraska Foundation for College of Dentistry Scholarship support.
