He was predeceased by: his parents, Deryl L. Travis Sr. and Marjorie M. Travis; his brothers, Timothy and Bruce; his granddaughter Margaret; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Travis and Danny Wegner.
He is survived by: his wife Cherie; his daughters, Stacy Travis (Mark Kluver) and Kimberly Olivera (Adrian); his grandchildren, Jordan, Isabella, Henry, Hazel, Nora, Evangeline, Estela and Ellis; his pet Abby; his siblings, Patricia Gross (Thomas), Sheryl Travis-West and Deryl Travis Jr. (Karen); his sisters-in-law, Kathy Brumbaugh and Donna Wegner-Schoenfeld; and his niece Kristin Wegner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery (6800 S 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68512).
