She was predeceased by: her husband Donald J. Wenzl; her parents, Audra "Hap" Thieman and Bertha Thieman; her daughter Bonnie Jean England; and her nephew Duke England.
She is survived by: her sister Audrey Hoban; her son Donald J Poole Jr. (Lisa); her stepchildren, Donald L. Wenzl (Nancy), Debbie Reed (Kory), Marty Wenzl (Kelli) and Ginger O'Reilly (Patrick); her grandsons, Timothy Decker, Aaron Stanton (Angela) of Donald James, Poole III and James Dean Poole (Kaylee); and her stepgrandchildren, Shamus McClure (Lexie), Jordan Reed, Logan McClure (Erica), Jamie Reed, Sean McClure (Trista), Veronica Pratt (Frank), Nicole Wenzl and Thomas O'Reilly. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, numerous great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A rosary was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home (4040 A St, Lincoln, NE 68510). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St John the Apostle Catholic Church (7601 Vine St, Lincoln, NE 68505).
