She is survived by: her children, Robert Hansen (Peggy), Michael Satterthwaite, Debbie Hansen, Tom Hansen (Barb), Cheryl Stewart and James Hansen; and her son-in-law Jerry Albright. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

“I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I am a half-brother of Valerie Albright; her father and mine was the first husband of Betty Jean Dugan. I only met her once, at Valerie's funeral in 2016, when I met some of Betty's children and got to talk to Betty herself. I'm glad you had her with you for so long. My greetings to those of you I met at that memorial. My thoughts and that of my younger brother (who was also there) are with you all.”
