He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Esslinger and Leona Esslinger (Holst); his wife Sally; his daughter Sharon Forster; and his sister Rogene Tvrdy.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra, Sherry, Sandie Anderson (Bob) of Lexington and Rick Esslinger (Jill) of Cozad; and his grandchildren, Katie Rhodig, Lynn Forster and Korey Forster. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are kindly suggested to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lexington, Lexington Volunteer Fire Department or to the family as they will be sponsoring a race in Wesley's honor next summer.
