It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Marie Sherman of Lexington, Nebraska, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Gormley and Susie Fern Gormley (Osborne); and her brother Allen Wayne. She is survived by: her husband LeRoy Sherman of Lexington; her children, Steven Sherman (Terri) of Lincoln, Brenda Colvin (Don) of Lexington and Kevin Sherman (Brenda) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Matt Sherman, Susan Fuller (Akai), Colleen Sherman, Laura Sherman and Scott Sherman; her great grandchildren, Levi Sherman, Madelyn Sherman, Ezra Sherman, Solomon Sherman, Sammi Fuller and Akai Fuller, Jr.; her brothers, Don Gormley (Dee) of Granbury and Dennis Gormley (Dixie) of Amana, Iowa; and her sisters-in-law, Thelma Hald of North Platte, Eileen Tiede (Murl) of Elwood and Jo Sherman of Lexington. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Reynolds-Love Funeral Home (106 W 8th St, Lexington, NE 68850). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar First Presbyterian Church (801 N Lincoln St, Lexington, NE 68850).
