She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis E. and Grace F. Newton (Foxworthy); her siblings, Bob Newton, Mary Harvey (Bill) and Catherine Cornell (Lee); her stepsiblings, Madge Johnson (Burdette) and Roy Jackson (Violet); her siblings-in-law, James Urbom (Elaine), Frank Schultz, Arlene Wehland (Roy), Blanche Ranken (Hilbert) and Faye Peterson (Willard); and also Elgin Jackson (Arlene).

She is survived by: her husband Eugene Urbom of Overton; her children, Louis Urbom of Overton, Yvonne Tuton (David) of Hope Mills, Brian Urbom (Carole) of Grand Island and Audrey Riebschlager (Ben) of Overton; her grandsons, Cory, Christopher, Kevin Tuton, Andrew Urbom and Wyatt Riebschlager; her stepsister Nova Schultz of Omaha; and her sister-in-law Cecilia Newton of Alamogordo. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
