He is survived by: his parents, Michael Atkins of Portland and Patricia Atkins (McGonigle) of Lexington; his children, Michael Jr. Michael of Wood River, Braden Winters of Gothenburg, Ava of Wood River, Xavier of Wood River and Everhett Sapp of Lincoln; his sisters, Staci Lahti of Sandy, Amber Atkins (Carl) of Portland and Stephanie Leyva (Ruben) of Boise, Idaho; and his former wife Rebekah Atkins of Wood River. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephew and other extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 5:30 PM at the Refuge Celebrate Recovery Building (1105 Park St, Lexington, NE 68850).
