We are sad to announce that on December 20, 2023, at the age of 83, Gary Lee Hammond of Lexington, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lee and Myrene Hammond (Kincheloe); his sister Barbara; and his brother-in-law Dick Reed. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hammond (Reed) of Lexington; his children, Jolynn Stinehagen of Lexington, Ken Hammond (Rhonda) of Lexington, Janna Eberle (Bruce) of Grand Island, Chris Jenn (Kevin) of Amherst and Charlene Hollister (Eric) of Grand Island; his grandchildren, Dustin Hammond (Hannah), Kaleb Hammond (Shelbi), Makenzie Brooks (Derek), Megan Teel (Brett), Matt Eberle (Abegale), Ashley Jenn, Austin Jenn (Alex), Allison Jenn, Brandon Hollister, Justin Hollister and Ryan Hollister; and his great grandchildren, Addie, Cooper, Beckett, Ridgley, Ollie and Daisie. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials are kindly suggested to Lexington Christian Church or to the family for later designation.
