With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Rachel Bricker of Lexington, Nebraska, born in Paxton, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2024 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Langmacher and Olinda Langmacher (Heinrich); her husband Vance Bricker; her brother Don Langmacher; and her grandson Adam Neil.
She is survived by: her children, Vance Ryan Bricker of Lexington, Alan Bricker (Theress) of Kearney, Bruce Bricker (Betty) of Holdrege, Laurie Hamit (Steve) of Greeley, Shelly Pietenpol (Jack) of Lincoln and Kevin Bricker (Anita) of Ashland; her grandchildren, Amber Herrington, Kelli Riley, Aspen Workman, Kraig Hamit, Kyle Hamit, Devin Rausch, Halie Bricker, Chelsie Stowe-Rains, Eli Bricker, Gretchen Bricker and Sophie Bricker; and her great grandchildren, Lane, Lawson, Ledger, Carter, Austin, Lucas, Lainey, Cavanaugh, Cora and Ellie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are kindly suggested to the Lexington Public Library or to Grace Lutheran Church in Lexington.
