She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fernen and Annie Fernen (Grimm); and her husband Franklin Zimmerman. She is survived by: her children, Alan Zimmerman of Lexington, Donna Hanson (Gordon) of Elwood, Lila Kratzer (Mike) of Broken Bow, Alvin Zimmerman (Kayleen) of Overton, Joyce Racicky (Greg) of Mason City, Janice Raastad (Jeff) of Manhattan, Cherri Crittenden (Ted) of Kearney and Judy Sherard (Bob) of Minden. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Reynolds-Love Funeral Home (106 W 8th St, Lexington, NE 68850). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calendar Grace Lutheran Church (105 E 17th St, Lexington, NE 68850).
