It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Candace Kay Fagot of Lexington, Nebraska, born in Hastings, Nebraska, who passed away on February 6, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Batt and Kathryn Batt (Anderson); and her granddaughter Katelynn Koubek. She is survived by: her husband Randy of Lexington; her children, Susan Schmiett (Tom) of Gothenburg, Michael Buckley (Teresa) of East Moline, Kelly Rich (Matt) of Kearney, Brooke Lloyd (David Ruiz) of Lexington, Jared Fagot (Keri) of Lexington and Tatum Fagot of Lexington; her sister Sandi Smidt (Lonnie) of Hastings; and her grandchildren, Cade Ogburn, Alexandria Ward, Dustin Koubek, Lauren Schmiett, Chad Schmiett, Christiana Buckley, Trae Buckley, Braden Rich, Isabelle Rich, Isiah Starks, Jordan Starks, Jalen Starks, Kara Houlden, Jeremy Callahan, Jade Fagot, Jaxon Fagot, Klair Fagot, Jaryn Fagot, Jackson Oaks, Ian Oaks, Spencer Oaks and Lily Oaks.
