She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hamilton and Mabel Hamilton (Cart); her husband Otis "Knotty" Knotwell; her daughter JoAnn Thorman; her sons-in-law, Dennis Goings and Dwayne Muths; and her siblings, Kenneth Hamilton, Lenora Cobb (Cliff) and Dean Hamilton (Irene).
She is survived by: her children, Carol Thompson (Steve) of Wauneta, Barb Hinrichs (Gordan) of Lexington, Colleen Goings of Elsie, Patti Kitt (Lonnie) of Schuyler and James Knotwell of Wauneta; and her grandchildren, Tony Muths (Jolene), Justin Teply, Jeremy Teply, Jeff Hinrichs (Susan), Jessica Linscott (Ryan), Bradley Goings (Kathryn), Billy Goings, Casey Bailey (John), Carrie Kearney (Bryan), Griffin Knotwell, Hollis Knotwell, Kellen Knotwell, Max Knotwell and Richelle Lindner (Dan). She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
