It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cathy Heffner of Lemoyne, Nebraska, who passed away on January 2, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Spahn and Catherine Spahn; her husband Ron; her siblings, John, Pete, Jim Spahn, Pauline Gaines and Betty Booth; and her stepson Bobby Joe Heffner.
She is survived by: her sons, Dan Coakley (Debra) of Sterling and Ron Coakley of Lemoyne; her stepdaughters, Sherri Edwards (Tony) and Ronda Johnson (Tony) of Ogallala; her sister Marjorie Bettinger of Detroit, MI; and her grandchildren, Justin Coakley (Danielle), Jessica Kaufman (Trent), Taylor Coakley and Shannon Wright (Wade). She is also survived by five step grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
