He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Charipar and Mary Charipar (Done); his parents-in-law, Fred and Ethel Severin; his son Ricky Charipar; his brother Albin; his sister-in-law Dorothy Charipar; his sister Esther Bahns; and his brother-in-law Jerry Karel.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Severin; his children, Rick and Cindy Settje (Michael) of Leigh; his grandchildren, Tara Dlouhy (Kyle), Alex Settje (Paige) of Leigh and Lauren Stoklasa (Stephen) of Schuyler; his great grandchildren, Kaden, Kinlee, Teagan Dlouhy, Jase and Tate Stoklasa; his siblings, Mary Ann Karel of Clarkson and Marvin Charipar (Lianne) of Columbus; and his brother-in-law Gerald Bahns of Salem. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
