He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodie Golden and Bernaline Golden; and his brothers, Kenneth Golden (Annie) and Allen Golden (Donna). He is survived by: his wife Debbie Golden; his sons, Michael Newburn (Allison), Daniel Newburn (Emily) and Ryan Newburn; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Aidan, Colin, Alexxa, Jaxxin and Alex; his siblings, Gary Golden (Beverly), Norma Golden and Linda Barris (John); and his nieces and nephews, Bambi Wilson, Debbie Davies Vicki Bailey, Steve Golden, Jordan Golden and Adam Perales. He is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family.
