He is survived by: his wife Joan Miers; his sons, Jeffrey Miers (Patty) and Corey Miers (Julie); his grandchildren, Jessica Miers (Alex Handley), Eric Miers, Logan Miers and Piper Miers; his siblings, Melvin Miers (Linda), Nora Poplewell (Mike) and Cindy Tomson (Rich); and his sister-in-law Arieta Mier. He is also survived by many nieces; nephews and friends.
