He was predeceased by: his parents, Estella M. Wyland and Orus O. Adams; and his siblings, Orus Orson Jr. (Jupe), William (Billy), LeRoy (Red), Jack, Earl, Dorothy (Dottie), Jessee, Arvilla (Rusty) and Rose Mary (Bobbie).
He is survived by: his sons, Jimmie Dale Adams Jr. (Debra), Rickie Lee Adams, David Duane Adams (Eileen) and Dennis Ray Adams (Paula); his wife Lois; his grandchildren, James Zachariah, Chloe, Jaxon, Lily and Hayes Hess; his sons, Scarlet and Seth Lewis; his granddaughters, Mia and Anna; his stepchildren, Chuck (Cassi), Corey (Lacey) and Shanahan; and his sisters, Jean Conyers and Gloria Isakson (Dee). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
