Eugene Joseph Lighthart Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2022, at the age of 92, Eugene Joseph Lighthart in Lavista, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lighthart and Rosella Lighthart (Tobin); his brother Lloyd Lighthart; his granddaughter Emily Lighthart-Allen; and his great grandchild Deidre Grant.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Peg); his sister Deanne George (Tom); and his children, Gail Paulsen (Terry), Dave Lighthart (Jann), Pat Lighthart (Teri), Mike Lighthart (Kathleen), Mona Hauver (Rich), Karen Lighthart and Rob Lighthart (Shannon). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Robert Bellarmine Church or Alzheimer's Association of Omaha.
