Violet E. Wickett Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet E. Wickett of Laurel, Nebraska, born in Dixon, Nebraska, who passed away on October 23, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustaf Carlson and Elin Carlson (Kvick); her husband Keith Wickett; her grandsons, Philip Hagan Wickett and Todd Hagen Wickett; her siblings, Ernest, Carl, Oscar, Victor and Ruth Kamrath; her parents-in-law, Ruby and Verner Wickett; and her siblings-in-law, Marvin Wickett, Richard Wickett, Emil Kamrath, William Craig, William Green, Donna Carlson (Wickett), Mabel Carlson, Arlyce Carlson, Shirley Wickett, Jean Wickett and Rainey Wickett.

She is survived by: her children, Franklin Wickett (Pamela) of Beldon, NE, Donald Wickett (Nancy) of Round Rock, TX and Deanna McCoy (Joe) of Laurel, Nebraska; her grandchildren, April Wickett, Dawn Swirczek (Chad), Brooke Bouck (Calvin), James Wickett (Laura), Kristina Vondrak (Shane) and Ryan McCoy (Celeste); and her sisters, Esther Craig of Topeka, KS and Bonnie Green of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Masks and social distancing will be required for the visitation and funeral.
