It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roxie G. Nelson of Laurel, Nebraska, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on June 8, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Marlen Kraemer; and her brothers-in-law, Tim Hansen and Kent Ratzlaff. She is survived by: her mother Shirley Kraemer (Mallatt) of Laurel; her husband Todd J. Nelson of Laurel; her children, Eric Nelson of Dickinson, ND, Philip Nelson (Sasha) of Laurel, Travis Nelson (Amanda) of Wakefield and Mandy Whelchel (Dylan) of Vermillion, SD; her grandchildren, Valarie, Jace, Marcus Nelson, Stella and Eliza Nelson; and her siblings, Yvette Kraemer (Joe Snyder), Loni Hansen (John) of Laurel, Yvonne Hansen of Laurel, Randy Kraemer (Benito Montemayor), Rebecca Hahne (Kevin) of Norfolk, NE and Shelly Ratzlaff of Grandbury, TX.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made out to the Roxie Nelson family for a memorial to be determined yet.
