It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin D. Ellyson (Laurel, Nebraska), born in Newcastle, Nebraska, who passed away on September 14, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace May Ellyson (Lawrence) and William Ellyson; his son Brian; and his siblings, Lawrence, John, Louis and Celia Hansen.
He is survived by: his wife Marion of Laurel; his daughter Cynthia Johns (Lonnie) of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa; his grandchildren, Jennifer Peterson of Dixon, NE, Tyler Ellyson of Kearney, Marc Johns and Jessica Johns of Sergeant Bluff, IA; his great grandchild Kage Peterson of Randolph; his daughter-in-law Kim Strathman (Mark) of Randolph; his sister Jane Cochran of Norfolk; and his brother-in-law Gordon Hansen (Harriet) of Dixon, NE. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
